This 3-day flying safari offers a quick and seamless getaway from Nairobi. Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Lamu Island, departing around 8:15 am and arriving at 9:45 am. Upon arrival at Manda Island Airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred by boat to your hotel in Lamu or Shela Village.
Check in and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink followed by lunch at your beach resort or boutique hotel.
Relax at leisure — stroll along Shela Beach, swim in the turquoise ocean, or explore the narrow, peaceful streets of Lamu Old Town, lined with ancient Swahili and Arabic architecture.
In the evening, enjoy a sunset dhow cruise as you sail gently along the coastline — a perfect way to start your island retreat.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the ocean. Depending on your flight schedule, take a final walk through Lamu’s narrow streets or shop for handcrafted Swahili jewelry and wood carvings before transferring by boat back to Manda Island Airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi.
Arrive at Wilson Airport around midday, where you’ll be met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel or onward destination.
