ITINERARY
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your Finding Paradise Tours Limited guide. Depart for Meru National Park, an unspoiled wilderness and home to Elsa the lioness of Born Free fame. Pass through lush coffee plantations and rolling hills before arriving at Meru. Check-In: Elsa’s Kopje Meru — an award-winning boutique lodge built on Mughwango Hill with breathtaking panoramic views. AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE: Explore this pristine park teeming with elephants, lions, rhinos, and over 400 bird species. Enjoy a sundowner overlooking the plains. Dinner & Overnight: Elsa’s Kopje Meru (Luxury Cottage).
Morning Game Drive: Watch the sunrise over the Nyambene Hills as the park comes alive. Spot rare species such as lesser kudu, gerenuk, and Grevy’s zebra. Midday: Return for a relaxed lunch and perhaps a massage or poolside rest. Afternoon: Visit the Rhino Sanctuary within the park or enjoy a guided nature walk with a ranger. Check-In: Saruni Samburu / Elewana Elephant Bedroom Camp. Afternoon Game Drive: Search for the Samburu Special Five — reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. Sundowner: On a rocky outcrop with sweeping views of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Overnight: Saruni Samburu
