Start with a sunrise game drive when predators are most active. Explore the Seronera Valley and riverbanks, known for excellent wildlife sightings. After lunch, depart Serengeti and enjoy a final en-route game drive as you head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim for dinner and an evening of cool highland air. After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5–6 hour game drive. Discover elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, lions, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool and then ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. End of safari.
