ITINERARY
Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to either Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees and huge elephant herds, or Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and birdlife. Spend the full day exploring the park, stopping for a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, drive to your campsite for dinner and relaxation. Dinner & Overnight: Mto Wa Mbu Campsite / Similar.
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at Naabi Hill Gate, then begin your first game drive across the world-famous Serengeti plains. Search for lions, cheetahs, zebras, elephants, and more iconic wildlife. Continue your game viewing as you head to the campsite. Dinner & Overnight: Seronera Public Campsite (Inside Serengeti).
Start with a sunrise game drive when predators are most active. Explore the Seronera Valley and riverbanks, known for excellent wildlife sightings. After lunch, depart Serengeti and enjoy a final en-route game drive as you head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim for dinner and an evening of cool highland air. Dinner & Overnight: Simba Campsite (Ngorongoro Crater Rim).
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5–6 hour game drive. Discover elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, lions, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool and then ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. End of safari.
