ITINERARY
Depart Arusha after breakfast. Arrive at Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds and baobab trees. Afternoon game drive for your first wildlife experience. Dinner & Overnight: Budget campsite inside/near Tarangire.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the park’s lush forests, soda lake, and abundant birdlife. Spot flamingos, baboons, hippos, and tree-climbing lions. Dinner & Overnight: Campsite near Lake Manyara.
Activities: Afternoon visit to Ngorongoro Crater Rim Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at scenic viewpoints in the Ngorongoro Highlands for photos. Optional visit to a Maasai village along the way for cultural immersion. Enjoy sunset views from the crater rim. Dinner & Overnight: Simba Campsite (Ngorongoro Crater Rim).
Activities: Morning crater descent & drive to Southern Serengeti Early breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a 3–4 hour game drive. Spot rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalos, and zebras. After lunch, drive to the Southern Serengeti, less visited and great for wildlife spotting. Afternoon game drive in the southern plains. Dinner & Overnight: Southern Serengeti Campsite.
Drive time: 4–5 hours (including transit to Seronera). Activities: Morning & afternoon game drives.
Travel north to central Serengeti (Seronera Valley). Spend the day on game drives to maximize sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. Picnic lunch inside the park. Dinner & Overnight: Seronera Public Campsite.
Activities: Optional morning game drive & return to Arusha Early morning game drive in central Serengeti for any last wildlife sightings. After breakfast, depart for Arusha with optional scenic stops in Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive in Arusha late afternoon, marking the end of the safari.
