ITINERARY
Your driver will pick you up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for large elephant populations, towering baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebra herds, and many bird species. Activities: -Full-day game drive in Tarangire. -Picnic lunch inside the park. Accommodation: Budget: Tarangire Campsite / Mto Wa Mbu Campsite. Mid-range: Tarangire Safari Lodge / Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti. Drive through the Ngorongoro conservation area, with beautiful scenery and Maasai villages along the way. Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive focusing on predators, plains game, and the dramatic savannah landscape. Activities: Game drive en-route to Serengeti and Afternoon game drive. Accommodation: Budget: Seronera Campsite. Mid-range: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp / Osinon Camp.
Today is dedicated to exploring the vast Serengeti plains. You may witness lions hunting, cheetahs scanning the horizon, leopards resting on trees, and endless herds of wildebeest and zebras. Activities: Full-day game drive. Optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari (extra cost). Accommodation: Same as Day 2.
Wake up early for one more morning game drive in Serengeti. Later, drive out of the park toward the Ngorongoro highlands with stunning views. Activities: Morning game drive and Drive to Ngorongoro area. Accommodation: Budget: Simba Public Campsite. Mid-range: Rhino Lodge / Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
After an early breakfast, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—home to the densest population of wildlife in Africa. This is one of the best places to see rhinos, alongside hippos, lions, elephants, hyenas, buffalo, and beautiful crater lakes. Activities: Half-day crater tour, Picnic lunch at the hippo pool and Return to Arusha in the afternoon. End of Safari.
