ITINERARY
Depart early from Kampala and drive northwest through scenic landscapes and local villages. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (optional) to track Uganda’s only wild rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and enjoy lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, visit the Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge to create a thunderous roar — a truly breathtaking view! Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Accommodation Options:
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains of the park. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda kob, oribi, and hyenas. Return for breakfast and leisure time at your lodge.
After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls — a spectacular journey filled with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous waterbirds. Optional short hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Enjoy breakfast surrounded by the sounds of nature. Depart for your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving by late afternoon. Optional stopover for souvenir shopping or lunch along the way. End of safari.
