ITINERARY
Your safari adventure begins early morning as you depart Kampala for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to Uganda’s reintroduced white rhinos. Enjoy a guided walk with experienced rangers as you track rhinos on foot — a truly unique and thrilling experience. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the evening, relax and enjoy the sunset over the River Nile. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Accommodation Options:
Rise early for a morning game drive across the northern sector of the park. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, oribis, and Jackson’s hartebeest. Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure time by the river.
After lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Watch hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, take a guided hike to the top of Murchison Falls. Feel the power and mist as the Nile forces its way through the 7-metre gorge, creating one of the world’s most dramatic waterfalls.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge, enjoying the pool, or optional nature walks and birdwatching. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast surrounded by the sounds of nature. Begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with scenic countryside views and a stop for lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon — marking the end of your unforgettable Ugandan safari.
